A bit over the top - however I liked the pull our hero the bricklayer had being loved by two women - one who in the end wanted to to destroy him - however the other woman took her down quite literally before our hero could be done in - I know a bit cliche but I gotta say that was ok. The fight scenes were a bit over the top - in general fast paced.

You gotta watch this movie carefully or better yet watch it twice as the story is not laid out chronologically ! Good movie all in all

Took me a while to get into the series - somehow the pilot with a man in his old-fashioned classic Y briefs was off-putting however the intricate plot and the grand web of writing sets a new standard for a series - the pathos, the raw dissection of middle class and the lower strata of the US is visceral. El Camino is a welcome add on as I was hoping it would go on for another series .....
