They kept a couple of things consistent from previous 2ks, but they were definitely what I would consider to be negatives from those games. 2k11 is my personal favorite. This game makes me really angry I spent $60 on it and downloaded it on to my system. I find it unplayable. Unless you want to put a hole through your wall with your fist, I'd advise not playing this game. My Players is very difficult...literally the easiest option they give you is Allstar (3 out of 5). The game mechanics make shooting nearly impossible even on Pro...I normally play 2k at the highest setting of difficulty and shoot quite well. But not this game. This game is almost torture. Forget about closing out on someone or contesting shot without going all out for a block. Tapping triangle no longer is a quick hand up contest. No. You always launch yourself forward and as high up as you can go. If you bite on a shot fake you are highly likely to foul. It's nuts. So many things about this I so not like, would take too long to list them all here. If I had the physical disc in my possession, I would take it out to a field and destroy it with a baseball bat and golf clubs before lighting it on fire. This is how I feel about the game. Do not make the mistake of falling for the dumb dumbs who give this 5 stars. It doesn't even have the potential of 5 stars. The announcers in the game can't ever get player names right either. It's awful and a little confusing at times. How does all this I've described find itself a part of a 5 star game??? It doesn't.
