Like most things emerging from 2010 onwards it’s visually appealing while being internally shallow, limited and emotionally wooden. The animators worked magic in this film while the the majority of the “voice actors” seem to have been selected for their fame instead of ability. The songs have been reduced to lifeless recitals of a previous master piece. It looks like a documentary, but without the ability to make the viewer feel anything. The Lion King has has lost its soul.
