This album is criminally underrated. This is, without doubt, a top 3 U2 album. The only thing other U2 albums have on Songs of Innocence is time and people having developed those connections with them. I still don't understand all the fuss about it being "forced" onto your phone roughly a decade ago. Who TH cares!? It's not like they loaded you up with godawful music. This stuff is legendary. There isn't a track on here that isn't worth putting on repeat. It's rare I can call an album (in general, not just with U2) perfect, given that there's usually AT LEAST ONE very mid track on it. But in Songs of Innonce's case, it has SO earned that title.
