The pilot doesn't quite make you love the characters -- the dad is rough! As you watch more episodes -- suddenly all the characters get less one dimensional and the story lines take off bigger as well. This show links up with King of the Hill, Family Guy, etc. with the 70's sensibilities offering up the niche. Love the ubiquitous beer and cigarettes of a long gone world. The poison mosquito spray trucks spraying the neighborhood -- seriously funny!
