I’ve seen all Disney versions of this show many times and I like this one (2019), the NYC stage production, and the now hard to purchase Robin Williams animated version. I like them all but I like the 2019 newly released film the best of all. My 10 year old grandson likes the stage production and 2019 film version equally-since he’s seen both that is saying something about the acting - it’s good! I think Disney has learned and built on all previous versions of this story and you can debate about who is/was your favorite actor but this version is dynamic. It’s a fun movie!
