I faithfully watched 3 seasons of My Brilliant friend and refused to watch the botched 4th season. The familiar facces are gone.

I categorically despise gratuitous violence BUT the violence in this film is vital as the catalyst that enables this love story. Superbly acted.

As a Greek American I am very gratified that the young Turkish professionals told a story that includes the miserable times of that period. It is not wise to dwell in the past, but a re-telling once in a while serves as a cleansing of sorts, and inspiration to move forward with the determination not to repeat the past, but to move forward with peace and understanding.

It seems that too many people are stealing films or TV series and contrive new ones to only serve their need to bring attention to social issues. I find that reprehensible. Are you so called creators so void of creative ideas? Also this series includes black women. A perversion of history. The women's league was segregated. So, let the original stay in its part of history and smarten up and do something relevant...of now.

Unique and well acted series. My complaint is the music in each episode is wonderful and I can't find music credits anywhere! (:

As the bulk of the American audience declines in recognizing excellent films (but then again no one is writing them anymore) we are being barraged by mediocrity. The Banshees of Inisherin is horrible. No true theme. The actors are excellent but the vehicle they collect together in is sinking in quicksand. Awful, awful, awful.
