Pretty poor, I expected much better considering Adam Curtis was involved. It had an interesting concept and attempts to explain the current ideological impasse the west is in. There are some influences of Curtis ideas there and some of the cinematography is fantastic, but it got bogged down in lazy paint by numbers pet projects of the left and (I hate this term) it’s ‘virtue signaling’ distracted from the more interesting sub plots in it. The last episode was so bad I couldn’t figure out if it was trying to be funny on purpose… in fact I was laughing out loud at that point but I had given up by then. Do yourself a favour avoid this and instead watch Curtis’ fantastic documentaries on YouTube.
