4 STARS - i really liked the story line, they stayed as realistic as possible (the ending will prove that). The lead female is one of fav actors of K-series. She was fab in something in the rain as well. I really liked watching this series. The guy looks amazing with his hair set (partitioned) and is a good actor as well. The Switzerland scenes are amazing. I would recommend it to people i know and watch K-series.

Loved it !!! I like how they show the feelings of all these characters without too much exaggeration. They seem so real and genuine in their struggles as well as happiness. I am glad the way the whole triangle was resolved, that's what a person who really loves you and calls you a friend would act like. I feel for do-hyeon but as he said this was something he needed in life to understand himself better. She did shake his world for better. Tae-o's character was so nicely written, he is the friend everyone would love to have. I hope they make more of these realistic modern day romance stories.

What a series ! i am so glad i saw it. We come across so many romantic movies/stories everyday, while you enjoy watching them very few actually leave an impact like this one did. "Romance is a Bonus book" is such a subtle story of love and friendship. The journey of the lead couple is put forth beautifully along with the stories of the side actors. No melodrama, no over the top comedy scene, NO VILLAN are some of the main things that make it so beautiful. It makes you wanna pick a book and read it, the whole emotional journey behind making of a book is so nicely shown that one can actually get inspired to be a writer them self. Its as realistic as real life could be and hence relates with you at every moment. To sum it up, ITS A GEM, please do watch it. I am planning to re-watch it soon

WATCH IT ! To be honest I did not have much expectation from it but boy- oh-boy ! It was unexpectedly good, I really liked it . Complex relationships, Nicely directed and executed romantic scenes and the chemistry between leads was awesome. It was fun yet emotional.

What a series ! i had finished watching 'Romance is a bonus book' and was in complete awe of it , having watched atleast a dozen of Korean series 'Romance is a bonus book' topped it all. It was so beautiful and little did i think i will find something to top it. I was googling for options to watch in korean dramas when i came across the name and liked the poster , i was like lets give it a try but boy oh boy !!!! 'Something in the rain' turned out to be AWESOME !!! What fabulous writing and acting. I finished it in two & a half day (weekdays) its difficult to stop once you start watching. The lead pair of the series will mesmerize you with their acting. such beautiful chemistry , smooth body language , expressions. LOVED EVERY SECOND WHEN THEY ARE ON SCREEN. While Jin-ah is a sweetheart it is Joon-hi that will take your heart away. Hi character was so well written. A young guy with so much love and maturity. I am not gonna lie everytime I thought he was gonna hate her and fight with her he just hugged her, eventually I kept waiting for the scene where they will fight to see him actually get angry with her (for real) at once, but thats not him. He is a giver, nothing really mattered as long as he had her. A value for relationship he learns from his lack of having a family. Such a beautiful story and it will stay with you for a long time, needless to say i am gonna re-watch it.

I liked the story , the lead pair had nice chemistry but some scenes were too dramatic to be true for example Song Joon-ki is brought to hospital after being shots with multiple bullets, almost gonna die situation but the next minute he is walking in the hospital , also no surgery or wound marks etc. you cant make such big mistakes. Was not a bad series but have seen better K-series.
