Great respect for all the actors and their previous roles. Mary Steenburgen...Parenthood, Elf, The Proposal Jane Fonda...On Golden Pond, 9to5, Barefoot in the Park, Coming Home, Monster-In-Law. Diane Keaton.... Something's Gotta Give, The Godfather, Baby Boom, Annie Hall Candace Bergen...Murphy Brown, Sweet Home Alabama, Miss Congeniality. Andy Garcia....When a Man Loves a Woman, Black Rain, Internal Affairs, The Untouchables. Don Johnson....Miami Vice, From Dusk till Dawn, Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man And along comes Book Club. Aging Stars who want a paycheck. Can I blame them? I would have hoped that among the talent at least one of them has the ability to write a good movie script to share amongst their peers. Just my insight to a movie that was a waste of iconic Hollywood talent.

Loved the First one, thought 2nd was okay and held my attention....3rd....WHY??? So disjointed, struggled to find the humor and had a hard time with the emotional connection (especially if this is what the purpose was of the "connecting with your emotional roots). Great if you just want a background movie playing 😂
