I agree completely with Alvin junior. Way too many weird occurences. The main problem I have is I didn't care about the William Macy character. I didn't care about the woman lead, I think her name was Mae in the movie? I only cared a bit about Noah.
Aside from that, at the start of the movie they told me many generations had passed. So in that time there had to be reproduction of the human race albeit in a limited number of people. So they are sitting in the room waiting for the key chip to get power to contact other humans all those years? We were told 'many generations.'
Also the female lead is not a believable character. She shows up shivering and weak and turns out she kills William Macy off and is strong. Also she comes all the way back to say goodbye to Noah. What were all these various camps just a few blocks from each other? I just am flabbergasted all those humans were waiting in the building for the chip all those generations. I LOVE this series and give all the other Ape movies perfect scores. This one sadly gets a 1 out of 5.
