YJ C (hyeokgun)

The first drama that made me feel like I need to write a review to thank the writers for doing such a great job! Although I had to watch it twice to really understand the meaning of the dialogues, it really healed me deep within. The dialogues were written so meticulously it provoked deep thoughts on self-love. My favourite line is when the female lead asked the male lead about who he thinks she’ll be spending the rest of her live with, to which he answered himself but she replied that he got too ahead of himself and that the answer is her, herself. That is such a strong statement on self-love and it’s also a really important topic that is sometimes neglected when we’re busy living our lives and forgot about the importance of taking care of our own well-being first. This is very different from Korean dramas I’ve watched before focusing on fairytale love that isn’t as realistic in real life. Not only that, other roles of the drama have strong characters as well with each conveying values like learning to embrace differences and such. Of course, the actors and actresses did a great job as well delivering the characters as they should be. Personally thinks it’s a masterpiece that is not only meaningful but also fun and entertaining to watch!
