I was on board with Maddox (Burt Lancaster) until the end. What a complete let down! Besides deciding to pull out of his mission he then murders a man in cold blood. The man had thrown down his arms & was running away when he was shot in the back. That's murder! I was deeply disturbed by this & even more disappointed in the movie. What a waste of my time.
