A shallow, self-centred pseudo-picture of a genius. I felt so depleted at the end that I had to watch a real film (documentary) about the real Maestro. Surprising that given the budget they wouldn't bother to hire a proper orchestra to show some proper work the Bernstein has done. Conducting also was a mockery and so was the attempt to picture Bernstein's personality. Bradley Cooper might look like him but that's where it all ends. If you want to picture someone with such an extraordinary talent, electric personality, depth, passion and charisma, you can't act like his caricature. Well, at least if you don't mean to create one. And that was a success I'm afraid.
