WELCOME, BACK BOLLYWOOD, it was an adaption to a Malayalam film but they did it ...nicely. I have seen adaption going wrong but this film was pretty well made. However, i feel the sequel was not that great as compare to the part 1 but an excellent sequel because i have seen some sequel killer movies or franchise killer movies like Bhool bhuliyaa 2(Franchise killer). Coming back to drishyam 2, A MUST WATCH IN THEATRE, don't wait for OTT release, also please watch the first part before watching 2nd as the first one will update you well,with characters and with the story. I was very happy when i left the theatre with chills, really enjoyed my time and WORTH IT.
