I am a 38 year old man who has been listening to deftones ever since Adrenaline first dropped. That album made me a huge fan of Deftones, while this album came and literally changed my life. I was a very close minded punker who really only like hard and fast punk rock(Pennywise, Bad Religion, Nofx, Descendents, etc). I had loved Adrenaline because of how raw and powerful Chinos vocals were, but it wasn't until this album, Around The Fur, that he truly let his talents show. From start to finish, this album will pull you in and lull you into a feeling of calm, while Chino whispers beautiful lyrics into your ear, before devastating you with brutality and Chino screams. One of my favorite albums of all time by one of my favorite bands of all time. Deftones always deliver, even all these years later!
