Loved the short story, Birdy has witnessed her cousin in blood, etc…a young girl afraid, has to tell the truth of what she saw, what he said…A mother disowns her, for betrayal of Tommy, her cousin, whose is sent to prison. She Becomes a forensic pathologist, and once again is haunted by Tommy and the case coming to light once again, because of a prison guard trying to get her to listen and talk to her cousin who is still pleading not guilty. Great work…suspenseful, and a thrill of a short read. Nice to read something short term, especially when you’re flying or traveling…a good mystery…Gregg Olsen is a great writer…

A gripping experience for surviving Alaska in the written form..stirs the heart, the neighbors of understanding, Mabel and Jacks strengthening through hardships. Long winded, makes no sense, almost ended it from the start, but made myself continue…too no avail, a very disappointing read. Henry was the best part of the story. Just awful. Took me forever to read, from the chapters filled with boredom and lacking excitement, to the finish. Being an avid reader, I refused to give up, hoping David Wroblewski had a good ending. Not so! Waist of time. A maze of confusion!
