Realistically Raw, Heartbreaking, yet Hopeful, because of Inez's risky decision to give Terry's broken life, so reminiscent of her own, a better life. The acting is Superb, the characters' struggles and emotions are palpable. The movie's depiction of the gentrification of Harlem and historical quotes adds depth to the often broken and frustrating lives of the residents.
