!SPOILER ALERT! As a person who has both read the book and watched the series, I think this was a wonderful adaptation, loosely based on scenes in the book and had its own little twist as well, especially with Jake's death at the end and the mysterious text message. The Cliffhanger definitely suggests that Season 2 will not be based on the book itself, because the sequel 'One of us is Next' Is not based on the personal lives of the Bayview 4, but Bronwyn's sister and her friends. I honestly think this was an amazing tv series and I am eagerly waiting for more.
