Don't believe the critics-The Good Cop is a funny show (if you possess a good sense of humor). The writing is incredibly witty, Josh Groban and Tony Danza make a great comedic team, and the tone of the show is such that you know the powers that be aren't taking themselves too seriously. If you're looking for a realistic NY cop show, this is not it, not even close; however The Good Cop is a well-done comedy that finds its heart in the quirky, but lovable father/son relationship between Danza's and Groban's characters.
