I agree completely with Professor Oronofsky’s review. It was difficult to watch Alex’s struggles, her dysfunctional family, her difficulties breaking free and heartbreaking to see her working so hard to make ends meet yet constantly meeting obstacles. Her love for her daughter is her beacon. It was a riveting series. Dr. Oronofsky thank you for your deep, well considered review. Vicki Bismilla

I agree with some previous reviewers that Vlassy is not the best host. She is abrasive. I am watching today hoping to get a better understanding of the tragic situation in Nova Scotia where a gunman killed 18 innocent victims. Instead I see Vlassy rather rudely badgering Minister Blair about when he will bring in gun control legislation (in the midst of Covid-19 lockdown.) Power&Politics does not have to be a blood sport.
