Despite the obvious and highly inaccurate allusion to yorùbá deities, this series is also quite uneven in terms of acting and characters (especially when it comes to the colonial period). Some dialogues and scenes on Season 2 are simply hideous. If you are looking for something respectful about history and religion, please do not waste your time.
