Beautifully written book, gives so much perspective on mental illness, time and with that life. The book switches between Ruth and Nao which was interesting but sometimes I wanted to dive further into Nao’s story without being taken out of it. However I enjoyed Ruth’s purpose of finding Nao and found her curiosity to find this girl ,who’s diary she stumbled upon, very relatable. Definetly stole some wise words from old jiko to put into my diary.
