Each to there own, but this game is TRASH the ratings explain it all, I feel like they made the game so bad they wanted everyone to hate it as it’s the last fifa EA make but they still make there money. Fifa 21, 22 both flowed better, honestly 21 I think was better balanced with smother play style which made it much more enjoyable. Fifa 23- First off to put it briefly attack is overpowered in many ways it’s just not that easy in real life to beat defenders and goalkeepers. Goalies look absolutely useless can’t save simple goals they basically fall over half the time and concede easy saves and that’s just the beginning of the flaws in this game they “call” fifa. Defending feels like a struggle between jockeying and sprinting with no in between jockey is slow and sprinting you overrun most of the time, it’s boring using the only defence style that works which is to contain and hold the back line structure of your defence and basically just pressure them into an error to win the ball back as tackling just leads to a lot of misses then opens holes in your defence once that happens it’s hard to recover then the attack becomes way overpowered which leads to a goal because strikers have lots of pace and jockey can’t keep up containing is pointless and useless as they don’t seem to contain the attacker they still get around your defenders. Yeah to sum the game up basically overpowered attacking system and underpowered defence and both do not flow smoothly, can’t link great plays together which for me makes it not enjoyable to play. Definitely a downgrade I don’t think they even tried to make fifa better pitiful by EA. I tried to like this game but it can never be.
