I can't stand you Ms. Rockwell! I spent my Thursday afternoon balling. I have a headache and cannot get over the ending. Every part of this story, executed marvelously by the actors, took me back in time. I had to take a break from watching cinema about our culture because it seems to only depicted us as slaves, gangsters, loose & or bitter, uneducated/ inarticulate, jailed, trauma ridden etc.. and though this movie showed those elements, it also revealed something much more profound. A man, woman and child who just wanted to be loved. A father & a mother who just wanted the best for their child. And a young man who realizethrough the efforts of his mother and father and what true love & sacrifice is. I don't know if I have the strength to watch it again but it will be with me forever. Well done cast and crew🥰
