Incredible performance by Anthony Hopkins portraying the confusion, frustration and despair of an once intelligent, full of life man. His vivid acting brought out the many facet of the mental states of a sufferer of dementia which we unfortunately see so much of with an ageing population around us. Olivia Coleman also gave an outstanding performance showing the heartache of a dedicated daughter who tries to look after her fathers whilst managing her own state of affairs. The ending was very moving and really had me thinking about how i would be if the situation occurred to me and the floodgates opened. Excellent movie.

So boring and slow. Kristen Stewart portrays Princess Dianna in the exact same manner as all of her other roles, moody, solemn and twitchy. That may be the character intended given the time of life Spencer depicts, however I do not feel K.S portrays any of the grace that Princess Dianna would probably exude even in the given situation. I really gave it a good go to watch the movie given all the rave about it but was sadly disappointed and could not finish the movie. Don’t waste your time.
