I don't usually write up many reviews for games but this one I felt I had the need to. Double Exposure has to be my least favourite of the Life is Strange games, I couldn't seem to get to familiarise myself with, pretty much any of the characters. I did really enjoy the other games. There was too much story and very little reward for the menial two-selection (mostly) options. The game forces you to do a task if you say yes or no in certain situations, making the options ultimately pointless. In regards to the LGBT thing, I think it was far too much and made me cringe (I am gay btw). Multi-gendered toilets and very few of the characters are actually heterosexual which makes it seem a bit devoid of realism (I know it's a game but c'mon!). So I had completed the first chapter and finally getting to actually do something in the game on the second chapter (no spoilers but you don't get much of anything to do but watch the game progress like an animated movie). Millennials (including me); I don't recall many if any of the trending '2000's' cheesy quotes "amazeballs" for example, I'd give permission to receive a good slap should I ever say anything as corny. I'd of thought as Max is now an adult, she wouldn't be using teenage phrases, although it did kinda make me laugh a bit - but in a cringy way! I think if you enjoy story driven games, maybe it's worth a shot, I'm not going to continue the next chapter as the game has started to frustrate me now. I think, although the story was meant to be incredibly sad, it didn't connect with me as some games do, I cried my eyes out at the end of the last of us (no spoilers!) Thanks for reading :)
