I came across this book at an airport about a year back but was put off by the size of the book ,but my curiosity about the various avatars of the devi and the kind of devotion the elders in my family hadfor this avatarmade me buy n read this bpok about a week back ,very intense and unputdownable ,but on the downside i feel that all the interactions between the Devas n daitas the 3 main dieties are made yo appear silly and also indra ,. The language used to discribe the daitayas about their imagination of them wooing the Devi could be more decent , and toned down at times it is like reading a semi porn .the encounters are also too lengthy ,but inyeresting at the same time .
