First of all, I have been watching SATC since I was 15 years old (2001) . Even though they were four white women living in New York in fancy homes and in fancy clothes, I still loved it.
I was skeptical to watch this reboot, but I am really glad that I did watch it. Something about those women gives me a sense of comfort when I watch the show. What I enjoyed is how the writers tore away those walls of the little box they put them in originally.
There was real life issues, Charlotte and her daughter's gender identity, Miranda and her finding love with a woman, And Carrie being single after loosing her husband. They are much older now so it shows how that age group can adapt to the new way of life and still have fun and look fabulous while doing it.
IT was a more diverse and beautiful cast that shows that Black and Brown people can be just as affluent and fabulous.
I would love to see more of this show.
