Horrible conclusion. Bringing back Palpatine made it to where Anakin Skywalker was indeed not the chosen one, essentially making his character pointless, thus making the first 6 films pointless. They made force lightening way to powerful, had way to many cringey one liners, and a lot of it didn’t make sense. The ending where they’re riding horse like beings in space on a star destroyer? What even was that? And who’s decision was it to just kill off Kylo Ren (AKA Ben Solo) the way he did? Horrible way to end his character.
People who liked this film are casual movie goers who liked the CGI and fight scenes. But true Star Wars fans, when trying to connect the dots, will find that the writers literally said “man let’s just finish this thing.” Horrible pacing, horrible character development, just overall bad. Abrams has ruined the legacy of Star Wars. I’m putting all my hope in the Mandalorian.
