Even though I find cult docs riveting, this one, by episode 5 has begun to grate my nerves. I find the protagonists more and more self-indulgent, privileged and obnoxious in their self-riteousness. They paint themselves as victims of one man and his power without indulging their own shallow value systems that made them such easy prey. Wealth, whiteness, attractiveness, careerism, thinness, pseudo-intellectualism and pseudo altruism led them to believe their own hype. I think of how many people were hungry and cold and penniless in Albany. I despise these people. They filmed themselves!!! Gross.
