Not knowing anything about Robbie Williams going into this film, it makes me sad to see this film is not getting the box office love it deserves. It is funny, and dare I say, an emotional film. You forget about the fact he is a monkey pretty quickly ( which is explained as to 'why' in the first five minutes). Musical numbers actually drove the story forward as opposed to being there for the sake of being there. Some segments were maybe a bit too long in runtime (a habitual problem with a lot of films) but overall well worth a watch.
