I watched first episode. Too much melodrama for me. I then watched the last of the last episode. Enough to know a lot of what happened and who did what to whom. The ending was satisfying.

There is a lot to like about this series. And I'm done with it. I just finished episode 4. The episode that has the all too familiar theme of money makes people miserable. The theme that has been around forever that is used to make people grateful they don't have that terrible problem of lots of money. Money does not make people miserable. Some people with money are miserable but not all people with money are miserable. Some are quite happy and content with their lives. I've always believed this idea that money makes people miserable is perpetuated to try to convince people accept that not having enough money to make ends meet is a good thing. That they should be grateful to have to worry about having basics like food, shelter, clothing. Because if they had lots of money THEN they'd be unhappy.

Trite and boring. Plus in this movie and old woman, who is perfectly able to make decisions, is forced to give up all rights to her privacy. May the writers and producers have this happen to them. Now.
