The theme and story is good but with swift, effective editing the movie would have been more appealing. Few scenes are dragging and repeatetive in expressing the sentiments of a successful director with unencouraging family background. Guru Dutt is a great film maker, more emotional with weak heart to take on the commercial impacts of film world
