I left the theater feeling so spiritually raped that I felt compelled to ask God to forgive me for allowing this movie into my head. Go in the theater, get your popcorn "to go", and turn around and leave. This was the worst movie I've ever seen. I'm all for the 1st Amendment, but the other side of that is our free speech to encourage people NOT to see this film. I realize the goal of this movie is to shock and awe, but when young children become the target of the violent scenes, it inherently crosses the line. If you are a parent and don't get uncomfortably disgusted and walk out, you may want to reconsider where you yourself draw the line. Movies are a form of art, and ironically the bad guy in this bad movie is named Art. The movie has extreme anti-Christian undertones, one scene shows a headless man nailed against the wall in a crucifixion posture. Another shows a crown of thorns being violently forced onto a woman's head. The scenes where children are killed (elementary school aged children) are sickening. I made a huge mistake by seeing this and should have done my research first. I've now read that the 1st scene is so sickening that it has literally caused viewers to sprint to the bathroom to be sick. I was not prepared, and will forever be ashamed to know my money went to support and encourage such an evil form of "Art".
