I'm Jewish, not all that religious but had a bat mitzvah and everything. It's cool to see a movie about a part of modern Jewish life, but it wasn't all that great, unfortunately.
This movie was just... uncomfortable. I think it's probably mostly because I can't stand cringe humor. It's just not my cup of tea, personally. Every scene in the movie made me squirm in my seat. I get that the main characters are kids who make dumb decisions, but pretty much everything that could go wrong did go wrong, and I just can't stand that kind of thing in movies!
It's cool that Adam Sandler and his daughters got to act together in a movie though, so nothing to comment on there really.
