What a bad storyline. Sam is so unlikable (and Simu is great, so it was the writing I believe) and very hard to believe in the movie that that girl with big dreams, by the way, dreams she built while she was an adult would pivot so drastically. I understand her coming back and grieving with her family, but it would be more believable and even enjoyable if the would become then something really for herself, not exactly what her parents wanted her to be, not trying to be the opposite, just her. Also, the actors have zero chemistry. Overall, really bad movie.

Horrible, horrible movie. The entire movie I was questioning why didn't she leave? I think it's so sad for the LGBTQ community to finally have a christmas movie and is a horrible one

People that are disliking because they're addressing race issues never had to deal with this in the first place. So if they are upset it means the show's doing the right thing
