Great Christmas movie! Loved it! Funny, engaging, and heart warming!!!

Incredible film! Jake Gyllenhaal deserves the Best Actor Oscar more than anyone has in years! The Guilty grabs you in the first 5 minutes and never let's go. That Jake's performance holds you for an hour and a half is an amazing feat, as the camera is on him directly for 99% of the movie. This movie touches on many of the issues that plague the U.S. today. From police brutality to the drug crises to mental health, and does it with aplomb. MUST SEE!!!

Not much to see here. Disjointed, with a not great script. Good performances by Johansen and Driver. Good. Not great. The wife comes across as butter, spiteful, selfish, and ego driven. The husband comes across as naive, stupid about relationships in general and his in particular, stubborn, and self consumed. Their past is hardly well fleshed out, and you barely care about their present. I'm surprised at the glowing reviews. Movie standards have really fallen. Kramer vs Kramer this is not. Not even close.

You've seen this movie before. We all have. At least 500 times. The sets all look just as you'd expect. The girl next door looks like they all do. Reese Witherspoon has made this movie 100 times. Ashton Kutcher has made it 100 times. What was the point of this? I could only take it in 15 minute increments. Watch if you literally have nothing else to do but watch paint dry.
