That’s not to say I was impressed with the strange dog references. That fantasy interfered with the very real experience of the profound isolation of being home with a small child all day.
Any new parent can relate to the feeling that your life has changed inextricably and you have lost yourself in the mix.
Ditch the dog fantasies and it’s a good, yet very weird movie.
