Why didn’t I know more about our history? This should be required reading for anyone studying our current political environment.
This book has chilled me to the bone and if you don’t think history repeats itself this book will dispel all doubts. An informed citizenry is the best guard against tyranny. The book is a great read. It’s easy to think this was some distant era but it rings with chilling contemporary authenticity. Not everyone will want to read this but any true thinker will thoroughly appreciate time spent with it. Yes, it is frightful but life is not all butterflies and puppy dogs.
