If you are looking for a good mythological and women lead books you've chosen the right one. This book is one of those books which you can't keep down and when you have read it twice or thrice you realize you missed this point the first time you read the book. We all know the end of Mahabharat . But that's just about it. Exactly! There is so much more to this book. This book doesn't capture the point of view of a man that we have normally heard or read in the Mahabharata. Seldom we have seen a female role such as Draupadi as written in this book. We now understand the plight of Draupadi in a more detailed way. Well, my favorite part was towards the end of the book, when Drauapdi is dying and recalls the happiest times of her life (which are difficult to find). She is helped by Krishna who helps her recall it. The scenes are written beautifully in the novel. This book can be read by children who are about 13 years old to about anyone above the age! This is an entertaining and informative book which tells us less about Mahabharat and more about Draupadi. Hope you find this useful!
