I honestly don't understand why persons hate this movie so much, I think half of its hate is because the first two were so iconic and it had a lot to live up to. I think if it wasnt marketed as a home alone show it wouldve done pretty well. It's a very normal funny kids movie that happened in the 90's, I've seen worse and while I understand some of the points spoken here like, the traps were a bit incredulous or unrealistic etc. It's all for the fun and magic of a kids show. One thing I also liked was how Alex was pretty different from Kevin, I became fond of his character abd liked the difference between them. Honestly if this movie imitated Kevin, it would've recieved more hate and ridicule for not trying to do smth different and not living up to the first so that why I think the director tried to take a different route. Growing up I actually preferred this movie than the first two and I rate it a solid 7.5/10. Pretty enjoyable and fun. I find all this hate unnecessary.
