So I usually don’t write reviews about movies or anything really, but I watched The Wild Robot with my grandmother on Peacock and the best way to describe this film is… extravagant. The music, the animation, the art style, voice acting, storyline… all of it is amazing. I cried, got emotional, felt love and sadness, laughed.. hands down one of the best films I’ve watched in a while. My grandmother stopped doing other things (usually during movies) as she was captivated by it. It made me think about how this film can be so relatable to real life, only by fictional characters of a robot and animals. If you love emotional, deep connecting/storytelling films with unique art style for the family, I recommend you to watch this 10/10 film. Definitely would watch again to get a good cry and heartfelt emotions.
Another note: this film can emotionally move you so much, you feel empathy for the main character(s).
