Original characters and concepts? In a spinoff??? Amazing. So, I am forgoing the fifth star because I wanted a little more emotion from 'WENDY/MARCY' while reminiscing through the brothers quiz or while reaching out to connect through the vidscreens. She feels a little flat but not so flat she inhuman and emotionless. Can she cry? We don't know. On the other hand! Finally get to see the real monsters i.e. Weylan Yutani and Prodigy. Where the other movies just have them as side notes that served the stories purpose. Shifting gears onto them is a great storytelling move that will gives a fesh new look at the xenomorph universe. The Synthetic humans offer a great new opponent for the aliens that will undoubtedly be more.....'durable' and fun to watch in following episodes. I'm excited to see their still vulnerable young psyches and inevitable mortality through environment. i.e. the razortailed toungue punching xenomorphs with acid for blood. It's wins accross the board so far but were only two episodes in. Im fully invested in this show as long as they dont pull another WILLOW on us......ffs.
