This re-boot never should have come to fruition. It's a sad attempt to revive the original that fails miserably. The young cast is dull and inexperienced. The storyline of Freddie being a firefighter is just absurd, and shows no promise. Frasier (Kelsey Grammar) has no one to trade rapier wit with and shuffles around the set in a sad imitation of the great, but gone too soon, Martin Crane. The fact David Hyde Pierce and Jane Leeves refused to be a part of this abomination is quite telling. Beebe Neworth is still an effective actress in her role as Lilith but the writers really don't give her, or any other cast member, much to work with. All in all this show isn't worth your time.

Not a quality aitcom by any measure.

This was a wonderful show. Why it was canceled is a mystery to me. Witty family comedy.
