Cumberbatch it's a great actor but other than that I think the script is terrible, the expressions are from today's middle class not from the streets of NY in the 80's. Constantly they create situations to intrigue but without of touch, I don't feel they accomplished the approach, yeah they dressed, they used the cars and was filmed in a way that emulated a film look but looks fake.
