I "discovered" this album 30 years after it came out. I was not fond of the hit song based on the album title when it came out, so I never explored the album. But in 2019 Spotify recommended the song "Bad Man's Song" and I gave it a listen. Whoa! So I played the album. Spectacular. It has become an all-time favorite. Even the title song grew on me after that initial listening.
