It just felt plain, bland, full of common places. The two sex scenes were utterly unnecessary. I’m not sure this is historically accurate. Certainly the first scene with a song sung by an Edith Piaf-esque singer doesn’t bring credibility to the movie. Battle scenes were remarkable, but after GoT and HotD, we need dragons otherwise it’s just horses and bullets. Disappointing.
