After believing the Rotten Tomatoes ratings for "Tusk" and "Yoga Hosers", I was delighted to see Kevin Smith return to true form in the new "Jay and Silent Bob Reboot". The film made me feel young again, having discovered the OG "Clerks" only five years ago. All of the View Askew films really helped me through my early years of college, and had this movie been released around then, it would've made it even better.
One scene that left me hanging off the edge of my seat was Silent Bob's "Glengarry Glen Ross"-esque speech to the KKK as a distraction while Jay did the rescue work. Seeing him take off on Alec Baldwin felt like a great callback to when Baldwin was a regular on the "Clerks" cartoon.
What else can I say here except... "Snooch to the nooch!"
