Code Geass Lelouch of the Re;surrection is a sequel to the three recap movies. After 10 years of Code Geass's epic finale, this movie is screened to resurrect Lelouch and his story. The story takes place after the Zero Requiem where the world is yet again in jeopardy. Lelouch has yet to battle and outmaneuver his toughest opponent yet. Lelouch of the Re;surrection stays true to its Code Geass heritage through showcasing great battles, shrewd strategy, deep philosophy, and most importantly progressing the storyline of the characters we all adore and love using the theme of 'regrets'. I highly recommend watching this movie to any Code Geass fan, even if you've adored the beautiful ending the original series had laid out. You get to see Lelouch, C.C., Kallen, and many other characters come back to life in new costumes and their stories progressing in 2019's great animation. You're missing out if you don't watch it! It may not be as intense or 'good' as the original series but for sure it doesn't disappoint and it will definitely leave you wanting more Code Geass! - Story: 8/10. Comment: The story mainly focused on C.C. and Lelouch but not the other characters. The story didn't quite explain much of C's world and rushed through it. - Animation: 9/10 - Music: 10/10. Comment: I highly recommend looking up the translation of the two songs in the movie. They are hidden messages one's from C.C. to Lelouch (OP) and the ED is Lelouch responding to C.C. It's extremely poetic. - Overall Enjoyment: 9/10
